The fragrant, rose-shaped, coral-pink flowers with a gentle, agreeable aroma are praised by the American Peony Society Gold Medal Selection.
The petals of this fragrant double blossom fade from rose-coral to light coral, or practically cream, with a mustard-yellow center as it ages. The mounded leaves and erect stems (no staking required) make for an outstanding landscape display. The blooms have a diameter of around 5-1/2″ and are perfect for spring bouquets. The American Peony Society’s Gold Medal is well-deserved.
In rich, fertile, medium moisture, well-drained soils, it thrives in full sun or partial shade. Peonies thrive in full sun, but may take a little midday shade.
